You play tennis?? I LOVE tennis.

I used to play for my high school team and I still play regularly. Don't you have any indoor courts in your area?

Ya Actually we do have indoor courts around the area. So if needed you can play all year round! I still am in high school and have played tennis since my freshman year. Actually thats the first time i picked up a racket... my freshman year. Was #1 on my JV team my sophomore year. Was #5 last year on varsity and am looking like im gonna be #3 or #2 this year. Pretty good for a new player with no expricence. My dad was really good at tennis so tahts where i got it from. My strong points are my blazing forehand and hard fast serves. Course im inaccurate with my serves

but thats improving this year. i have a pretty decent twohanded back hand and my cut backhand is pretty good. So its just a matter of consistency i guess. Cant wait til i start matches again.

Totally agree. Last week it was in the 40s and was nice outside... then we had a SNOWSTORM yesterday and it snowed a lil more this morning. Ugh. I hate driving into campus during days like that because most of the other students are asses when it comes to driving and parking. I have a student parking pass and can't find spots sometimes even when I arrive earlier because some jerk parks his car half in one spot and half in the other.

That happened to me yesterday as well. All week it was nice and sunny, great weather for tennis then boom snow! it was crazy!!

Cool! Well if we ever meet IRL we should play sometime.

I was #3 singles for my Varsity team and also played #4 doubles for awhile. I decided not to play in college (I'm a freshman) cause I wanted to concentrate on studies and also cause the other girls here are too good. lol I still play for fun all the time and will probably join a rec league this summer.

Wow thats gotta suck

Last week it was 68 degrees two days in a row, i busted out my flip flops and t-shirts and was wearing them enjoying how good it felt to be in summer-like cloths, then this week its about 39 degrees, raining, windy, gloomy and cold

Sounds good. I am actually on the #1 doubles team though. I have played with this kid since my freshman year. Hes an amazing net player, im decent at net. I am a better backcourt player then he is, so we kinda compliment each other. I am more agile and quick then he is so thats why i play backcourt. i can move side to side faster and get up to short shots.

Wow, I wish it would get even close to that here.

I grew up here but have always hated winter lol, go figure. I really need to move to a warmer state.

Ya i watch tennis all the time. My favorite player is most defiently Andy Roddick. I like the way he plays. Its much like my style. Blazing serves and forehands, a strong backhand and a cut backhand thrown in the mix. Much rather play the baseline then charge the net. My style is based after his style, thus why i love watchign him. though watching federer and nadel dual it out is an amazing match to watch!

I'm in Kentucky now, got to live in Canada for a bit as well, Its a little warmer here, but the weather is crazy - 68 one week, and 39 the next
